interesting drug graph

if you'll notice the graph on the bottom, we can see that inhaling a drug (such as THC, the drug found in weeed) is pretty much just as fast as getting to the brain as injecting a drug (such as heroin). this is interesting to me.

I would have thought that the fastest ways of getting high would be:

1. injecting
2. snorting
3. inhaling
4. ingestion

but, in reality it is:

1. injecting
2. inhaling
3. snorting
4. ingestion

hm. did you know this? what would you have thought??

those colors in the graph represent the amount of drug present in your brain depending on which method of pathway you choose. yikes.
