oh, how much do i LOVE jeremy piven on Entourage??? TOO MUCH for words. i feel like i haven't talked about this much. maybe i have. i can't really remember. but, i JUST LOVE him. he is soooo good it's amazing. anyone else feel this way?? i love his character. he makes me laugh outloud. that show is just great. Emily and David were right when they said i would love it. i totally love it.


in other exciting news, i believe Meryl "the queen" Streep will be on Conan sometime this week. Maybe even tonight. i can't remember when. i'm excited for Julie and Julia. it's going to be a SISTER MOVIE.

AND! i just learned last night that Meryl will also be in the new Wes Anderson stop-animation film, The Fantastic Mr. Fox. SO excited about this. the pictures from the film look totally awesome. all-star cast as always. comes out this fall. GET READY!

in unrelated but still awesome news:

i read an article this morning comparing The Godfather to Arrested Development. now, i haven't seen The Godfather, but i have seen Arrested Development. the article makes the two sound like pretty much the exact same thing. Son is forced to take over the family business while his father is in jail because the rest of his family is pretty useless. i thought the article was pretty good. you should read it. and let me know if you've seen both and how they really compare.

ALSO ALSO ALSO, getting back to Entourage. PAUL HAGGIS guest starred in an episode today!!!!!! AAAHHH i was so excited. it was great. they talked about Vince wanting to star in the new Paul Haggis film and i got really excited. AND THEN in the next episode - there he was!!!! Paul himself. i was even more excited to see how excited they all were on the show to meet Paul. sadly, it does not look like Vince will be able to do the Paul Haggis film due to his contract with Aquaman.

oh, i love it.

also! more Entourage. so, the character Vince (who is the movie star) did this Aquaman movie directed by James Cameron. and it was a total hit. made more money than Spiderman. that was a spoiler, i guess. and so Vince signed on for 3 movies, not realizing that James Cameron only signed on for the first. so, they were talking about who was going to direct number 2 and i am sitting there thinking, "i bet Jeremy Piven is going to say Michael Bay." and then:

VINCE: Who's directing the movie?
ARI: Michael Bay.

YES! i was right. and then they were all like, "awwww come on!" it was funny.

and that's the second "hollywood thing" i've gotten right while watching the show. the first was just the other week when i predicted they were going to San Diego for Comic Con. and they did. and now this Michael Bay thing. i was proud of myself because both of those times i immediately thought, "i could totally be an agent." or, "i'm so cut out for this celebrity thing." even though it's not really related to anything.

OKAY. it's 7pm.

actually, i've decided what i want to be when i grow up. i want to work for a big studio lot in LA. and i want to be the person in the security booth at the entrance who lets you in, or makes you turn around. how cool would that be?! you would get to see soo many celebs. like, "oh, hello celebrity, yes, please drive in. oh, hello other celebrity, right this way." it would be so cool.

ok. sleepy kitty just woke up from a long nap on the rock. i have to scratch her face and give her kisses. so, i'm gonna go. i think after i am going to take a bath.
